Almost done with my week of foolishness. I'm gonna come up ~22 miles short of the 210 mark. On to Port Clinton tomorrow and a bed/shower at my Uncle Dave and Aunt Cindy's.

My name is Cody Zurhellen and I am 23 years old. Last season 3 close friends of mine hiked the Appalachian Trail and initially I had planned to hike with them. However, for a number of reasons I decided to stay home and work. After hiking the New Jersey section with them I knew that I had missed out on a huge opportunity. So I decided on the drive home that I would undertake the trip the following season. Well, here we are...and its time for me to start out.
