Wonderful Day! Recap...
Deli breakfast--swim in Nuclear Lake (great lake, bad name)--sweet trail magic--shower at a hiker friendly nursery--26 mile day despite all the stops. I've been hiking with Poco Loco, he is a great guy, 62 years old from Arizona. He is the director for a 800 mile trail they've bu8ilt through the entire state. Very interesting to talk about anything trail oriented.

My name is Cody Zurhellen and I am 23 years old. Last season 3 close friends of mine hiked the Appalachian Trail and initially I had planned to hike with them. However, for a number of reasons I decided to stay home and work. After hiking the New Jersey section with them I knew that I had missed out on a huge opportunity. So I decided on the drive home that I would undertake the trip the following season. Well, here we are...and its time for me to start out.
