Stopped in and got an ice cream before starting my trek into town. i remembered the hike well from last year...many fond memories. (I miss my friends.) Well, I've gotta resupply/make phone calls.

My name is Cody Zurhellen and I am 23 years old. Last season 3 close friends of mine hiked the Appalachian Trail and initially I had planned to hike with them. However, for a number of reasons I decided to stay home and work. After hiking the New Jersey section with them I knew that I had missed out on a huge opportunity. So I decided on the drive home that I would undertake the trip the following season. Well, here we are...and its time for me to start out.
