Aunt Helen's House -- 24.4 miles
17.4 miles to Fox Gap, leaving a 7 mile hike into the Water Gap with the family. Good day despite waking up wet and hiking all day in the rain. Zero day tomorrow. Glad to be done with PA.

My name is Cody Zurhellen and I am 23 years old. Last season 3 close friends of mine hiked the Appalachian Trail and initially I had planned to hike with them. However, for a number of reasons I decided to stay home and work. After hiking the New Jersey section with them I knew that I had missed out on a huge opportunity. So I decided on the drive home that I would undertake the trip the following season. Well, here we are...and its time for me to start out.
